The BUET Preliminary Result 2025 for the Admission Test has been published on January 27, 2025. A total of 7,552 candidates have been passed in the MCQ Type exam taken on January 23, 2025. Candidates can now check the results directly from the official website.
The authority of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) officially declared the shift-wise result for the preliminary exam. Students who appeared on the exam can check the merit status that is displayed on the admission portal.
As per the report, a total of 24,211 students from all over the country have been selected for the preliminary admission test. It is said on the admission portal that, 2520 students were selected in the first, 2512 in the second, and 2520 selected in the third shift.
Steps to check BUET Preliminary Result
Students can now check the BUET Preli Result easily by applying the step by step given below;
- Step 01: In order to get the result, candidates must follow the instructions that are mentioned here;
- Step 02: First of all, candidates need to open the web portal of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology by typing the URL. For this, just type www.buet.ac.bd/web/#/ugAdmission/1 into the address bar of the internet browser.
- Step 03: For this, simply copy and paste the URL into the browser. After that, it will automatically redirect to the home page of the BUET Admission Portal.
- Step 04: Once the main page is visible on your screen, simply tap on “Result” from the main menu.
- Step 05: Click on the Shift as per your admit card.
- Step 08: Finally, the list of the selected candidates will be displayed on the screen.
Note that, candidates may face loading issues or the site not responding to messages while checking the result. They are advised to visit the website again if they face any errors.
Those candidates who are passed in the Preli, are eligible for the next exam. As per the notification, the exam is scheduled to take place on February 13, 2025. On the day, the Ka Group will be conducted in the morning from 10 AM to 12 PM, and the Kha Group from 2 PM to 3:30 PM.
