Till now, four universities have left the cluster admission system (GST) from the session 2024-2025. They are going to conduct the admission test separately. The Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science & Technology University (HSTU) recently announced they will also leave the cluster system. As a result, they already released the admission circular.
As per the report, the HSTU Admission Circular was issued on January 26. They mentioned that the online application will start on February 9 and continue till March 6. The admission test will conducted from April 21 to April 24, 2025.
Meanwhile, bdnews24.com reported that 20 universities will hold admission in the cluster system. The Daily Campus also mentioned HSTU’s name in that list. So, it is very confusing for students who are going to participate in the admission test.
I visited the official website of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science & Technology University today, Thursday (February 6, 2025). At the time of writing this article, the notice and the online application timeline for undergraduate admission are still available on the website. On the other hand, the admission notice is scrolling on the homepage.
So, it is confirmed that there is no new notification regarding whether they are going to back in the GST Admission. If you are interested in applying for HSTU, you will need to wait until February 9. However, if they want to conduct the admission test in the Cluster system, I will update it here or in a new article.
